Race Entry Fee: Further to my communication in July, unfortunately we have lost BASI one of our major sponsors so regretfully I have had to raise the entry fee more than I envisaged. The entry fee for the 2011 races will now be £60 per racer ie £180 per team
Sponsors: We are extremely grateful to our two remaining major sponsors MPI – MTGY insurance and Meritz. MPI provides specialist ski insurance which covers racing. MTGY is an insurance for Gap Year students which covers a great range of benefits. Meritz provide all our T shirts, free of charge, a great saving. Meritz specialize in sports clothes and equipment for schools and are doing special hoodies for the event in various colours with the school name and BSR logo. I would ask you all to support our two sponsors in any way you can. Log into www.meritz.co.uk with user name 'British Schoolgirls' and password 'bsr' and you will see all details. We are grateful to our smaller sponsors, DHO, SCGB, Kandahar and our supporters Basecamp, BASI, Filarinskis, Leiths, Naturally Wight, Quest, Roxy and Snow & Rock who all provide prizes and 'goodies'. The British Schoolgirls section of the Ladies Ski Club site has links to all their web sites please have a look and see if you can support them.
Race Entry Conditions: Teams must consist of three girls who attend same school and are born between 1991 and 1999. School entries submitted by a parent will only be accepted with signed approval of the school.
Communication: Receipt of entries will be confirmed by email. To avoid the confusion which arose last year, all communication must be done through the team manager only.
Accommodation and transport: Erna Low is again managing our accommodation and transfer coach. They are offering some very favourable early booking discounts
Insurance All competitors must have ski racing insurance including a minimum of £2M third party. MPI provides ski insurance and this is included in all the accommodation bookings made through Erna Low.
The Races: Ali Jubb is Chief of Race once again and is supported by a hard working team both.on and off the snow. The organisers are all volunteers who give up their time to make sure the races are a success. |
