Located in a prestigious ski in ski out residence, our chalet style duplex apartment in Courchevel 1850m has its private entrance from the mountain Courchevel Altiport road that leads to 104 sq m of dream like living space. The open plan design creates a spacious mountain home and the treated wooden walls and open log fireplace makes everything so warm and atmospheric. The living room opens onto a south facing private terrace that leads directly onto the slopes where the adjacent 6 man chair lift gives access to the Valley of Courchevel and beyond to the 3 Valleys. The view of the overlooking peaks of Courchevel is nothing short of breath taking and watching the hot air balloons go up into the sky on sunny mornings is spectacular.
Our home has 2 double bedrooms each with en suite bathroom, one bedroom with chalet style bunk beds, open plan kitchen, dining and living area. Amenities also include a ski boot warmer, ski storage, wifi and 2 separate cloakrooms. Breakfast of croissant, pain au chocolat etc can be delivered upon request by the local bakery early in the mornings and cleaning can be organized to suit. A perfect location to enjoy the extensive European winter slopes or the summer mountain activities of mountaineering, mountain biking, white water rafting, swimming, tennis, golf, rock climbing and beyond.
Next to La Petite Bergerie are a ski shop [including all hiring], small lift pass office and the 6 man chair lift so you can avoid the bustle of La Croisette yet still ski to group ski classes for 9.30am. For private lessons, the instructors arrive at the apartment and head directly off missing the morning flurry of the Croisette. For those enthusiasts you can be the first to reach to peaks of 3400m to make the first tracks of the day! It’s a dream location and for those wishing to return back home for lunch the terrace is a sun trap.
The Courchevel Area
The linked ski area of the Courchevel Valley is 1304 acres of mountain entirely dedicated to all types of winter sports. Courchevel is one of the resorts of the largest linked ski area in the world: Les Trois Vallees. The area has 600 kilometers of prepared and maintained pistes. There is magnificent scenery stretching from the Mont Blanc massif in the north, to a unique view of the Swiss and Italian Alps. The 3 Valleys has plentiful restaurants on the pistes.
The shops, restaurants and bars in Courchevel are varied and plentiful.
