I have been skiing since I was a toddler and began race training with the Cairngorm Ski Club and the Scottish Ski Club. Since the age of 12, I have spent nearly every school holiday ski racing and training and was lucky enough to be awarded a Rannoch Bursary to train for six weeks in Les Houches, France. I was selected to the Scottish part-time Team in 2006 and have since had the opportunity to train and race in France, Norway, Italy and Australia.

I have also represented Scotland at the World Schools Ski Championships in Andorra in 2007 and in 2008 in Alpe d’Huez in France.

In 2007 I won the Juniors Super G at the British Championships in Meribel and was also selected for the British Youth Team.

In April 2008, I injured my cruciate ligament after crashing out for the British Championships Super-G.
I have been re-selected to the Scottish Part-Time Team and British Youth Team 2008/2009 , and although I am currently recovering from injury, my aim is to continue to combine my school studies with the development of my ski racing and training with the hope of joining the full time team when I leave school next summer.
As well as ski racing, I am an all round athlete who competes and represents my school in a number of sports including swimming, basketball and rugby. I also enjoy contemporary dance and have just completed a Sports Leadership course which I hope to use to help other young people to become interested in a sport and develop their own skills.

My goals for the next winter season are to continue to work on improving my international FIS points and to eventually be selected for the British Alpine Ski Team.
