BIOGRAPHY

I learned to ski at the age of 7, at my local dry ski slope in Swadlincote. I was introduced to the Arrows racing club and just after my 9th birthday I won the All England, Welsh and Irish Championships on plastic.

Snow training came a little later, and I spent 3 seasons with the British Children’s team.

For the past 3 seasons I have been very fortunate in securing sponsorship to allow me to attend Burke Mountain Ski Academy in Vermont. I have learned a great deal, improving my points each year. Living at the base of a mountain has its advantages!

My 2009 season came to a successful close with the British Championships. I won the downhill, super g, giant slalom and slalom events in the British Junior races and came 3rd overall in the senior races.

I am enjoying a summer break at the moment, spending my time cycling, boxing and going to the gym.

Many thanks to the ladies ski club and my other sponsors who keep me skiing!
